On October 1, 2016, BadWolfMC began with a world, a handful of players, and no idea where any of this would lead. Ten years later, we’re still here—and BadWolfMC has grown into far more than the worlds we’ve built.
There have been new servers, enormous builds, bizarre adventures, traditions, inside jokes, late nights, chaos, and people who became far more than names on a screen. Whether you’ve been here for ten years, ten months, or ten days, thank you for making BadWolfMC what it is today.
And we have one hell of a party planned. 🎉

A celebration this large doesn’t happen by accident, and we need to take a moment to recognize the people who have put a frankly unreasonable amount of work into making it happen.
Thank you to our Management Team for somehow keeping all of this organized, our Moderators for keeping us sane, and our Builders for their tirelessness, creativity, and continued willingness to be put through the wringer.
That last group deserves particular sympathy this year: they’ve built 15 brand-new minigames for the BadWolfMC Party alone.
Please be nice to them. They’ve been through a lot.
And to every staff member past and present who has given their time to this strange little place over the last decade: thank you.
THE CELEBRATION STARTS SEPTEMBER 18!
We’re not waiting until October 1 to start celebrating.
Beginning Friday, September 18, two special anniversary activities will be available every day through the big day.
🎁 THE 14-DAY LOGIN CALENDAR
Stop by the Mall and talk to merc once per day from September 18 through October 1 to collect a daily anniversary prize!
There are 14 daily prizes available, but don’t panic if you miss a few. Claim at least 10 prizes during the event and you’ll also receive a bonus Vault Star!
🔎 THE ANNIVERSARY SCAVENGER HUNT
We’ve hidden 10 bonus chests among the builds of Alpha, each packed with special Time & Space Loot.
Every chest can be claimed once per day September 18 through October 1, so finding all ten isn’t just a one-time adventure—you can make the rounds again tomorrow.
Each chest also has a chance to contain a special Anniversary Cake. Collect 10 Anniversary Cakes and bring them to Greedy Tibal in the Black Market. He’ll trade them for:
- 10 Loyalty Points
- one Big Bad Bitch Egg (Dragon Egg)
- one entry into our 500 Loyalty Point drawing, held during the BadWolfMC Party on October 1!

While you’re searching for Greedy Tibal, you may notice the neighborhood has changed a little.

Come build a shop and sell your wares in whatever manner you wish. The normal economy and server rules still apply, but the usual block restrictions don’t.
Want to use ChestShop? Go for it.
Prefer exchanging diamonds? Fine by us.
Have another currency or trade system in mind? As long as it stays within the rules, there’s a good chance you can make it work.
Say hello to the wardens while you’re there.
Or don’t.

It wouldn’t be a proper BadWolfMC celebration without a little Vault-related danger.
Join us for an Anniversary Week Vault Raid and see what terrible decisions we can make together this time.
🗺️ TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 — INSIDER SERVER TOUR & BASE CRAWL
9:30 PM ET
Join Cesar, merc, and the BadWolfMC Staff for a special insider tour through the server.
We’ll visit builds from across BadWolfMC and tell some of the stories behind them—the history, the details you may never have noticed, and probably a few things that seemed like a much better idea at the time.
Then we’re turning the tour over to you.
After the official server tour, we’ll travel from player to player for a community Base Crawl. Each participant will have up to five minutes to show everyone around their base and tell us about what they’ve created.

TEN YEARS ACROSS TIME AND SPACE
It’s difficult to reduce ten years of BadWolfMC to one post—or one video, one event, or even one very overloaded week.
But the reason any of it has lasted this long is you.
To everyone who has played here, built here, staffed here, laughed with us, caused problems for us, fixed those problems, came back after years away, or only recently found their way through the door: thank you.
We’re incredibly grateful that after ten years, this community is still here.
