Welcome to BadWolfMC. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules that apply when you access or use BadWolfMC’s websites, Minecraft servers, Discord community, shop, tools, forums, wiki, maps, or any other services we provide or operate.

BadWolfMC is a community-run, adults-only Minecraft server. We try to be fair, transparent, and reasonable, but we also need clear rules so we can protect the community, comply with platform requirements, prevent abuse, and keep the server sustainable.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using any BadWolfMC Service, applying for membership, joining our Discord server, connecting to our Minecraft servers, making a payment, or otherwise participating in BadWolfMC, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our Services.

These Terms are not intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

1. Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

“BadWolfMC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean BadWolfMC and the BadWolfMC Management Team.

“Management Team” means the BadWolfMC owners and administrators responsible for managing the community, server, website, rules, and related Services.

“Staff” means BadWolfMC moderators, builders, administrators, owners, or other users acting in an official or semi-official capacity for BadWolfMC.

“You,” “your,” “user,” “member,” and “player” mean any person who accesses, applies to, joins, purchases from, or otherwise uses the Services.

“Services” means any service, website, server, system, tool, platform, or community space provided, operated, or maintained by BadWolfMC. This includes, but is not limited to, the BadWolfMC website, Minecraft servers, Discord server, shop, wiki, forums, maps, applications, events, and related tools.

“Minecraft Servers” means the Minecraft servers operated by BadWolfMC, including servers accessed through or connected to play.badwolfmc.com.

“Server Rules” or “Rules” means the rules, guidelines, expectations, and policies published by BadWolfMC, including those available on our Server Rules page.

“Virtual Privileges” means non-tangible, in-game permissions, ranks, perks, cosmetics, commands, access, rewards, or benefits that may be provided to users through gameplay, community participation, events, support payments, subscriptions, or other means.

“Support Payment” means a voluntary payment, donation, contribution, purchase, subscription, or other financial support made to BadWolfMC.

2. Adults-Only Community

BadWolfMC is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

By using the Services, applying for membership, joining the Discord server, connecting to the Minecraft Servers, or making any payment, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use, register for, apply to, join, or participate in BadWolfMC. If we determine or reasonably believe that a user is under 18, we may deny, suspend, or remove access to the Services.

3. Independent Community Disclaimer

BadWolfMC is an independent community server.

BadWolfMC is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang, Microsoft, or any official Minecraft entity.

BadWolfMC is also not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Doctor Who, the BBC, or any other third-party copyright, trademark, franchise, company, or rights holder referenced through community themes, events, builds, stories, jokes, names, or inspiration.

All third-party names, marks, games, brands, and properties belong to their respective owners.

4. Relationship to Server Rules

The Server Rules are incorporated into these Terms.

By using BadWolfMC, you agree to follow both these Terms and the Server Rules. The Server Rules may include conduct expectations, gameplay rules, chat rules, building rules, Discord rules, application requirements, staff instructions, appeal procedures, and other community guidelines.

A violation of the Server Rules may also be treated as a violation of these Terms.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a more specific posted BadWolfMC rule or policy, the Management Team may decide how those rules apply in context.

5. Membership and Access

BadWolfMC membership is a privilege, not a right.

We may approve, deny, suspend, restrict, or revoke access to the Services at our discretion, including where we believe doing so is necessary to protect the community, enforce the Rules, prevent abuse, comply with applicable law or platform requirements, address payment issues, or maintain the stability and integrity of the Services.

You are responsible for the activity associated with your Minecraft account, Discord account, website account, payment information, IP address, or other identifying account information used to access BadWolfMC.

You may not evade a ban, mute, suspension, restriction, or other enforcement action by using alternate accounts, VPNs, proxies, shared accounts, new Discord accounts, new Minecraft accounts, or any other method intended to bypass enforcement.

6. Community Conduct and Enforcement

BadWolfMC is intended to be a welcoming, inclusive, adult community. We expect users to act in good faith, follow the Rules, respect staff instructions, and avoid behavior that harms the community.

BadWolfMC may take enforcement action for violations of these Terms, the Server Rules, staff instructions, payment policies, platform rules, or applicable law.

Enforcement action may include, but is not limited to:

warnings;
mutes;
kicks;
temporary bans;
permanent bans;
removal from Discord;
removal or rollback of builds, items, or progress;
removal of ranks or Virtual Privileges;
denial of purchases or support payments;
blocking IP addresses;
deletion or moderation of submitted content;
referral to a platform, payment processor, law enforcement, or other authority where appropriate.

We try to be fair and reasonable, but we are not required to provide advance notice before taking action.

Permanent bans may be appealed within 90 days using the appeal process or contact method made available by BadWolfMC. Temporary bans of 30 days or less generally may not be appealed unless the Management Team makes an exception.

7. Payments, Support, and Eligibility

BadWolfMC may accept Support Payments through our website, shop, payment processors, or other approved methods.

You should not make a payment to BadWolfMC unless:

your membership application has been approved;
you are a member in good standing;
you are at least 18 years old;
you are authorized to use the payment method;
your Minecraft username and other required information are accurate;
your Minecraft account is linked to your Discord account where required;
you understand that payments do not entitle you to tangible goods unless expressly stated.

Payments made before membership approval, without required account linking, with inaccurate account information, or contrary to posted instructions may be treated as Custom Support without Virtual Privileges. BadWolfMC may decline to apply rewards, remove related privileges, restrict access, or take other appropriate action where a payment appears improper, unauthorized, mistaken, fraudulent, abusive, or contrary to these Terms.

We may refuse, cancel, or refund any order, payment, subscription, or support transaction at our discretion.

All stated payment values are in United States Dollars unless otherwise noted. Your bank, card issuer, payment processor, or financial institution may charge fees, currency conversion charges, international transaction fees, or other costs that BadWolfMC does not control and cannot reimburse.

8. Payment Processing and Delivery of Virtual Privileges

BadWolfMC may use third-party payment processors, including but not limited to PayPal, Stripe, or similar services.

When making a payment, you must provide accurate information. If a Minecraft username is required, it must be entered correctly. Bedrock users must include any required prefix or formatting described by BadWolfMC.

Virtual Privileges are usually processed automatically after payment confirmation. In most cases, they should apply within approximately 1–10 minutes after confirmation. Some payment methods, such as e-checks, unverified accounts, delayed bank payments, fraud reviews, or processor holds, may take longer. BadWolfMC will not apply Virtual Privileges until the payment is confirmed.

If Virtual Privileges are not applied within a reasonable time after payment confirmation, you should contact BadWolfMC staff through the appropriate support channel.

9. Virtual Privileges, Ranks, and Perks

Virtual Privileges are not tangible goods. They are digital, in-game, account-based permissions, rewards, ranks, perks, cosmetics, commands, access, or benefits.

Virtual Privileges:

have no cash value;
are not property;
are not transferable unless BadWolfMC expressly allows it;
may be changed, replaced, suspended, removed, renamed, rebalanced, or discontinued;
do not entitle a user to special treatment, special consideration, staff immunity, rule exemptions, or influence over moderation decisions;
may be removed if a user violates these Terms, violates the Server Rules, abuses privileges, is banned, reverses payment, or otherwise harms the community.

BadWolfMC will try to describe ranks, perks, subscriptions, and other Virtual Privileges accurately. However, the official current list of rank and perk information is the information published on BadWolfMC’s website, including the Features and Shop pages. Information from old posts, old screenshots, Discord conversations, outdated announcements, or individual staff comments may be incomplete or outdated.

BadWolfMC may change Virtual Privileges at any time to protect gameplay balance, comply with Minecraft’s EULA or usage rules, respond to technical changes, support server resets, address plugin changes, fix abuse, or improve the long-term health of the community.

10. Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, payments to BadWolfMC are non-refundable.

For recurring subscriptions, cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period. You will generally continue to receive the relevant Virtual Privileges until the end of the current paid period, unless access is removed because of a violation of these Terms, the Server Rules, payment issues, or other enforcement action.

Subscription cancellation may need to be completed through the payment processor used for the subscription, such as PayPal or another provider.

If BadWolfMC suspends or cancels a paid subscription for reasons unrelated to your breach of these Terms, the Server Rules, payment policies, or applicable law, BadWolfMC may, at its discretion, provide a prorated refund for the unused portion of the paid period.

No refund will be given where Virtual Privileges are removed, suspended, changed, or not delivered because of:

violation of these Terms;
violation of the Server Rules;
ban, suspension, or removal from the community;
abuse or misuse of Virtual Privileges;
inaccurate payment or account information;
payment reversal, chargeback, or dispute;
unauthorized payment;
failure to meet eligibility requirements;
Minecraft EULA or platform compliance changes;
server resets, technical issues, data loss, plugin changes, or discontinued features, except where BadWolfMC chooses otherwise.

We still encourage users to contact us if something goes wrong. BadWolfMC will try to reach a fair outcome where appropriate, but refunds should not be expected unless expressly allowed by these Terms or required by law.

11. Chargebacks, Disputes, and Unauthorized Payments

Payments must be made only with the authorization of the account holder, card holder, or payment method owner.

If a payment is reversed, disputed, charged back, refunded by a processor, later determined to be unauthorized, or suspected to be fraudulent, BadWolfMC may remove any related Virtual Privileges, suspend or terminate related accounts, restrict access to the Services, decline future payments, or take other appropriate action.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using lawful rights provided by your payment processor, bank, card issuer, or applicable law. However, abusive, fraudulent, unauthorized, or bad-faith payment disputes may result in removal from BadWolfMC.

12. Custom Support

BadWolfMC may allow users to make Custom Support payments that do not provide Virtual Privileges or rewards.

Unless BadWolfMC expressly states otherwise in writing, Custom Support is treated as voluntary financial support for the community and does not create an entitlement to ranks, perks, items, commands, access, refunds, special treatment, or any specific service outcome.

13. Minecraft EULA, Usage Rules, and Platform Requirements

BadWolfMC intends to comply with the Minecraft End User License Agreement, Minecraft Usage Guidelines, platform rules, payment processor rules, and other applicable requirements.

To remain compliant, BadWolfMC may modify, suspend, replace, rebalance, or remove any rank, perk, feature, reward, item, privilege, shop option, gameplay mechanic, or Service with or without advance notice.

These changes do not automatically entitle users to refunds, replacement perks, compensation, or continued access to discontinued privileges.

14. Service Availability, Changes, Backups, and Discontinuation

BadWolfMC is a community-run service. We do our best to keep the Services available, stable, and enjoyable, but we cannot guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or preserved indefinitely.

BadWolfMC may modify, suspend, reset, restrict, replace, archive, migrate, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time. This may include, but is not limited to:

server resets;
world resets;
map changes;
plugin changes;
software updates;
hardware failures;
data corruption;
backups failing or being unavailable;
end-of-life software;
security issues;
payment processor issues;
hosting issues;
domain, DNS, or network issues;
staff availability;
community safety concerns;
legal, platform, or compliance concerns;
loss of access to third-party services;
financial sustainability concerns;
closure or long-term discontinuation of BadWolfMC.

We will make reasonable efforts to preserve important data, restore access, and communicate major changes where practical. However, some data, builds, items, ranks, perks, progress, logs, messages, or account information may be lost, changed, rolled back, or impossible to restore.

You acknowledge that Minecraft servers and online communities change over time. Your use of BadWolfMC does not create a right to continued operation of any particular server, world, feature, item, rank, perk, build, event, map, website, or Service.

No interruption, outage, reset, data loss, feature change, Service change, or discontinuation will automatically entitle you to a refund, credit, replacement, compensation, or damages, except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms.

15. User Content and Submitted Materials

You may submit, create, post, upload, transmit, or share content through the Services. This may include builds, chat messages, Discord messages, forum posts, wiki edits, screenshots, videos, applications, usernames, skins, suggestions, feedback, bug reports, ideas, or other materials.

You are responsible for the content you submit. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that your content does not violate these Terms, the Server Rules, applicable law, or the rights of another person.

By submitting content to or through BadWolfMC, you grant BadWolfMC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, publish, moderate, edit, adapt, excerpt, remove, and share that content for purposes related to operating, moderating, promoting, documenting, archiving, or improving BadWolfMC.

This license allows BadWolfMC to do things such as:

display your builds in-game;
show screenshots or videos of community areas;
quote or summarize public messages where appropriate;
use screenshots or gameplay footage in news posts, social media, website pages, promotional materials, or community updates;
preserve logs for moderation and security;
remove or edit content that violates the Rules or Terms.

We will not intentionally publish private application information, private staff communications, private support requests, or sensitive personal information except where necessary for moderation, safety, legal compliance, platform reporting, or with your permission.

16. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, BadWolfMC’s website content, original copy, rules, page layouts, graphics, logos, designs, documentation, custom text, branding, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to BadWolfMC.

You may access and view the website and Services for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not, without permission:

copy substantial portions of BadWolfMC’s website, rules, documentation, or original written content;
republish, mirror, scrape, or redistribute BadWolfMC content;
use BadWolfMC branding in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or ownership;
remove copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices;
use BadWolfMC materials for commercial purposes;
attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with BadWolfMC software, scripts, systems, or infrastructure.

Limited sharing, quoting, linking, commentary, screenshots, and community discussion are allowed where reasonable and lawful, provided they do not misrepresent BadWolfMC or violate these Terms.

17. Privacy

BadWolfMC uses personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you agree that BadWolfMC may collect, use, process, store, and disclose information as described in the Privacy Policy and as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Services.

BadWolfMC’s Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

18. Third-Party Services and Links

BadWolfMC may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party services. These may include Minecraft, Discord, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, map services, wiki software, forums, plugins, social media platforms, authentication providers, or other tools.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, rules, and practices. BadWolfMC is not responsible for third-party services, websites, content, products, actions, outages, data handling, fees, or decisions.

You use third-party services at your own risk.

19. Security and Prohibited Technical Activity

You may not attempt to interfere with, damage, exploit, bypass, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, scan, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to BadWolfMC systems, servers, accounts, networks, software, databases, authentication systems, staff tools, private areas, or user data.

Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities;
using hacked clients, unauthorized automation, bots, or malicious tools;
attempting to bypass bans or access controls;
attempting to access staff-only or private areas without authorization;
attacking, probing, scraping, or overloading the website or servers;
distributing malware, phishing links, or harmful files;
impersonating staff or another user;
collecting user information without permission;
interfering with payment, application, authentication, or moderation systems.

BadWolfMC may investigate, restrict, report, or take action against suspected technical abuse.

20. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

BadWolfMC respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe content available through BadWolfMC infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us through the method listed on our Contact page and include enough information for us to understand and review the issue.

We may remove or restrict content that we believe infringes another party’s rights or violates these Terms.

21. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BadWolfMC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

BadWolfMC does not guarantee that:

the Services will always be available;
the Services will be secure or error-free;
any data, builds, items, ranks, messages, or progress will be preserved;
any particular feature, perk, server, world, plugin, or event will continue;
website content will always be accurate, complete, or current;
third-party services will remain available or compatible;
the Services will meet your expectations.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BadWolfMC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, items, builds, progress, access, business, reputation, or anticipated savings, whether arising from contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory.

This limitation applies to claims arising from or related to:

use of or inability to use the Services;
outages, interruptions, resets, or discontinuation;
loss or corruption of data;
removal of access or enforcement action;
changes to ranks, perks, worlds, plugins, or features;
payment issues;
third-party services;
unauthorized access or security incidents;
errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in website or server content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BadWolfMC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to BadWolfMC during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

If you have not paid BadWolfMC during that period, BadWolfMC’s total liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

23. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BadWolfMC, its owners, administrators, staff, volunteers, agents, service providers, and representatives from and against claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to:

your use or misuse of the Services;
your violation of these Terms;
your violation of the Server Rules;
your violation of applicable law;
your submitted content;
your infringement or alleged infringement of another person’s rights;
your payment, chargeback, refund, or transaction dispute where caused by your conduct, unauthorized use, inaccurate information, or breach of these Terms;
your attempt to bypass enforcement, access controls, or security measures;
your harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith conduct.

This section is intended to protect BadWolfMC from claims caused by user conduct. It does not require you to indemnify BadWolfMC for BadWolfMC’s own unlawful conduct where applicable law does not allow such indemnification.

24. Changes to These Terms

BadWolfMC may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide notice through the website, Discord server, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Services.

25. Assignment and Transfer

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without BadWolfMC’s written permission.

BadWolfMC may transfer, assign, delegate, or otherwise move its rights or obligations under these Terms as part of a reorganization, change in administration, infrastructure change, merger, transfer of operations, or similar event.

26. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms are between you and BadWolfMC.

No other person or entity has the right to enforce these Terms unless expressly stated otherwise or required by law.

27. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.

The unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable part will be interpreted as narrowly as possible so the rest of the Terms can continue to apply.

28. No Waiver

If BadWolfMC does not enforce a part of these Terms, delays enforcement, or chooses not to act in a particular situation, that does not mean BadWolfMC waives its right to enforce the Terms later.

Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You and BadWolfMC agree to try to resolve disputes informally and in good faith before pursuing formal legal action, where practical.
